The materials used in high-pressure hoses are divided into non-metallic materials and metallic materials. Non-metallic materials often used in the production process of high-pressure hoses include nitrile rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, etc. With the advancement of technology and the development of the rubber industry .
EPDM rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, chloroether rubber, hydrogenated butadiene rubber, etc. are gradually used in the products of high-pressure hose manufacturers. Used to manufacture high-performance, high-value-added high-pressure hose products.
Non-metallic reinforcing materials include nylon and polyester fiber. With the development of the textile industry, high-performance materials such as aramid fiber are gradually used in high-pressure hoses. Metal materials include copper-plated steel wires and galvanized steel wires with circular cross-sections as skeleton layer materials. With the advancement of computer simulation, testing and other technologies, flat steel wires will be used in high-pressure hoses.
New materials used in high-pressure hoses:
(1) EPDM Eli: It has excellent heat resistance, steam resistance, weather aging resistance, chemical corrosion and excellent electrical insulation properties, especially good resistance to glycol ether brake fluid and vegetable oil. . Suitable for manufacturing high-pressure hoses that are heat-resistant, steam-resistant and resistant to strong corrosive media.
(2) Chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber: has excellent resistance to ozone and weather aging. Good chemical resistance, excellent flame resistance, oil resistance and tear resistance. It is suitable for manufacturing high-pressure hoses that are resistant to strong corrosive media, flame-resistant, and ozone aging resistance. It is especially suitable for manufacturing the outer layer of rubber hoses used in harsh atmospheric environments.
(3) Chloroether rubber: has excellent weather resistance. Good oil and solvent resistance. It has good flame resistance and low air permeability properties, and is suitable for manufacturing high-pressure hoses that are oil-resistant, ozone-resistant, weather-resistant and have low air permeability.
(4) Hydrogenated butadiene rubber: has excellent oil resistance, corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, dynamic fatigue resistance, and ozone resistance. Suitable for manufacturing high-pressure hoses with special requirements such as oil resistance.
(5) NBR/PVC: Excellent oil resistance, wear resistance and ozone resistance. It has good extrusion performance and is easy to process. It is suitable for manufacturing high-pressure hose outer rubber that is wear-resistant and ozone-resistant.
(6) Aramid fiber: Aramid fiber has excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and light weight.
(7) Flat steel wire: It has high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance and flexibility, and good pressure-bearing performance. In particular, it has good resistance to torsion and bending deformation. High-pressure steel wire braided/wound hoses made with flat steel wire have much better pulse performance than hoses made with high-strength (ultra-high-strength) steel wire.
