1. According to the pressure of the system, select the number of steel wire layers of the hose. The higher the pressure, the greater the number of steel wire layers. Each type of hose has a maximum working pressure, and the burst pressure of the hose is four times the maximum working pressure. Therefore, according to the actual system pressure, the maximum working pressure of the selected hose can be larger than the actual working pressure.
2. Select the inner diameter of the hose according to the flow rate. If the diameter is too small, the flow rate of the medium in the pipe will increase, causing the system to heat up, reduce efficiency, and produce an excessive pressure drop, affecting the performance of the entire system. If the diameter of the hose is too large, the cost will increase. Therefore, the inner diameter of the hose must be appropriate. When the hose is fixed with a pipe clamp or the hose passes through a spacer such as a steel plate, pay attention to the outer diameter of the hose.
3. When selecting a high-pressure hose, you should pay attention to the bending radius of the high-pressure hose. When calculating the bending radius, you should subtract the withholding length of the previous joint. If the bending radius of the installed hose is too small, the pressure-bearing capacity of the hose will be reduced and its lifespan will be affected.
4. The form of joints should be reasonably selected according to the hydraulic layout, such as: SAE flange joint, internal thread joint or external thread joint, 90, 45 and other joint angles and the overall hose assembly angle.
