Introduction to the connection method of flange hose

There are mainly the following ways to connect flanged large-diameter hoses:

1. Flange connection
Method description: Flange connection is to equip both ends of the hose with flanges and fasten the two flanges together with bolts to form a sealed connection. This is the most common way to connect flanged large-diameter hoses.
Application scenario: Flange connection is suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature pipeline systems, as well as occasions that require frequent disassembly and maintenance.
2. Clamp connection
Method description: Clamp connection is to put the hose into the clamp, clamp the hose with the clamp, and put the joint on. This method uses a clamp instead of flanges and bolts, and the connection is simpler and faster.
Application scenario: Clamp connection is suitable for occasions with high requirements for installation speed and convenience, such as temporary pipeline connection or rapid replacement of pipeline systems.
3. Threaded connection
Method description: Threaded connection is to match the hose with the joint thread and tighten it with a wrench. This method is tightly connected, but its sealing and pressure bearing capacity may be slightly inferior to flange connection.
Application scenario: Threaded connection is suitable for some low-pressure and low-temperature pipeline systems, or occasions where the connection strength is not required.
4. Elastic ring connection
Method description: The elastic ring connection is to put the hose into the elastic ring, then put the elastic ring on the joint, and tighten it with a wrench. This method uses the elastic deformation of the elastic ring to seal, which is easy to connect and has certain sealing performance.
Application scenario: The elastic ring connection is suitable for some medium pressure and low temperature pipeline systems, or connection occasions that require certain flexibility and elasticity.
5. Vulcanized flange connection
Method description: The vulcanized flange connection is a special connection method, which is usually used for hoses with spiral steel wire skeletons. It is done by vulcanizing the flanges at both ends of the hose and the flanges of the joint to make them tightly combined.
Application scenario: The vulcanized flange connection is suitable for pipeline systems with high pressure, high temperature and high sealing requirements, such as pipeline connections in the petroleum, chemical and other industries.
In summary, there are many ways to connect flanged large-diameter hoses, and each method has its specific application scenarios and advantages and disadvantages. When choosing a connection method, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as the pressure, temperature, medium characteristics, and convenience of installation and maintenance of the pipeline system.
